All Points East already have a pretty impressive bill on their hands. Between bagging The Strokes first UK gig in four years and securing the likes of The Chemical Brothers,Interpol and Johnny Marr, the second year of the festival is set to be a sell-out. Now, they have added some more exciting acts to the lineup of the first weekend…

Building on the success of it’s inaugural year, it looks like All Points East is about to cement its place as a must attend in the long line of London events. The festival have announced that Kate Tempest, Fat White Family, Temples and more will play over the opening weekend.

Joining The Chemical Brothers on the first Friday is BRIT nominated rapper Kate Tempest, Beta Band musician Steve Mason, Bristol collective Elder Island and alt-pop duo Jadu Heart. A little mix of all genres to cater to your musical needs.

Then, Sheffield’s favourite adopted sons, The Fat White Family will be taking to the stage the Saturday. They will be bringing their renowned eclectic post-punk, rock & roll stylings to Victoria Park before NYC legends The Strokes take centre stage. Throughout the day there will be performances by a variety of indie talent such as Amyl and the Sniffers, Temples, Angie McMahon and more.

On Sunday, headliners Christine and the Queenswill be supported by rising Dublin rapper Kojaque, who tells of everyday Dublin life through his jazz-inflected hip-hop beat. Other performers gracing the stage include Beach House, Honne, Kurt Vile and Princess Nokia.
