With a brand new storefront and makers hub filled with independent creators, 7th Magpie will open the doors to their York Street home this Saturday 7 March.
Situated just off the high street, it will offer not only the opportunity to buy from local creatives and artists, but also the chance to contribute to the community-driven makerspace yourself.
Ultimately, the plan is for customers to have access to art supplies and equipment such as laser engravers and 3D printers, as well as refreshments. This creative space should open in the weeks following the launch.
Run by local Sheffield makers, 7th Magpie hopes to host consistent workshops and events from their new venue, with a focus on community and collaboration.
For creators looking to get involved, there are opportunities to ‘make it in house and sell it in store’, along with support in ordering custom goods or products.
For everyone else, 7th Magpie provides custom creations, handmade gifts, and a relaxing community of artistic individuals in the heart of the city.
