Rileys Sports Bar on Sharrow Vale Road will soon be reopening under new management as Peaks Snooker Club.
The upstairs bar and pool hall has undergone a full refurbishment, with new investors behind the project aiming to keep the original concept in place while providing a new lease of life for the venue.
A key element of this plan will be revamping the food and drinks menu, with an as yet to be announced trader taking over the kitchen.
The usual offerings of live sport, snooker, pool and darts will remain, but there will be renewed emphasis on turning the venue into more of an attractive nightlife destination on the bustling Sharrowvale Road stretch.
All going well with the current roadmap dates, Peaks is set to open this summer and we’ll have some fresh interior shots once the work has finished.
