Following the success of last years’ Castlegate street party, the Exchange Street Collective (Plot 22, Delicious Clam and Bal Fashions) are treating us to another festival this Saturday (21st) in celebration of the diversity, history and creative culture of Castlegate and the surrounding areas. Expect a live street art exhibition by Concrete Canvas, live performances and DJ sets by Andy H, Winston Hazel, InaVibe and more, a fully licensed bar, hot food vendors such as Baked In Brick pizzas and MorMor street food, creative activities, independent retail stalls, arts and crafts stalls and lots more! More festivities will be taking place just a minutes walk from the festival at Victoria Quays, who are celebrating the 200th year anniversary of the Sheffield to Tinsley canal in a similar fashion, safe for the free water activities and climbing and caving experience! There will also be circus skills workshops from Greentop Community Circus as well as interactive theatre experiences with Rusticus. Plenty of fun for all the family, and it’s set to be a scorcher!
