Clothing brand Lucy & Yak is set to open its fifteenth UK store in Sheffield, with a new site launching in the Heart of the City on Saturday 21 March.
Located just off the high street, the space will stock the brand’s latest releases alongside its core collections, including its recently introduced L&Y range, which focuses on more muted tones and pared-back styles.
The store will feature the brand’s recognisable pink interior and is being developed in collaboration with a local mural artist, who will create a bespoke piece for the space. The site will be fully accessible from street level and include five changing rooms, one of which is designed for accessible use.

Alongside retail, the Sheffield location will introduce a new in-store studio called the Re:Yak Hub. The space is intended for clothing repairs, mending and customisation, with plans for workshops and drop-in sessions aimed at encouraging customers to extend the life of their garments. The store will also act as a base for the brand’s PreLoved buyback scheme, allowing customers to return worn items to be resold, repaired or recycled.
The opening follows a period of steady expansion for Lucy & Yak, which has launched stores in cities including Bristol, Cambridge, Manchester, Cardiff and Edinburgh, as well as additional sites in Portsmouth and Castleford. The Sheffield site will be the first to centre a dedicated Re:Yak Hub as part of its layout.
Liz Green, store manager at Lucy & Yak Sheffield, said: “We’re excited to finally open the doors to our new Sheffield store. Sheffield is our first shop to have its own Re:Yak Hub – a space where our community can drop in for customisation, mending and repairing. We can’t wait to meet people in person.”
