Veggie and vegan lunch spot Fanoush has closed its Pinstone Street branch due to the disruption caused by nearby Heart of the City II development.

Earlier this year, next door neighbour and fellow Sheffield independent Street Food Chef closed due to the on-going building works which have seen the Pinstone Street pavement closed off to pedestrians. Owner of Street Food Chef Richard Golland told The Star that sales had “absolutely plummeted” since the redevelopment began.

Taking to Facebook, Fanoush said: “Announcement! We are sad to announce that our City Centre shop has now closed due to the building development taking place. We value our customers, therefore we’re offering a FREE delivery service which can be ordered to you’re work place, home address or preferred location.  We hope this doesn’t cause to much inconvenience, and are thankful for you’re cooperation.”

Fanoush’s Broomhill and London Road branches are open as usual.
