Walkley Fest

Walkley Fest kicks off on Saturday 17th June and will be running until Sunday 2nd July to showcase the very best that Walkley has to offer.

Jam-packed full of events, including a photography competition, a clog dance workshop, a Feral Writers open session, and an art trail, it’s clear that this is a real community affair. There’s a little something for everyone: story time for pre-schoolers, coffee mornings for adults, computer classes for those looking to get digitally-savvy, and a bracken bash session in the local cemetery to help with the site’s upkeep.

The festival launch on the 17th will feature street markets, foodie stalls, and plenty of arts & crafts activities to boot. Set to see the return of the pot firing and the Living Adventure Tipi, it’s not one to miss!

The launch will be spread out across several venues including the Medical Centre car park, Ebenezer Church Hall on Greenhow Street, Walkley’s Library, and Millennium Green on South Road.
