5 Things To Do In Sheffield This Bonfire Night

For the last few years Manor Fields community have put together their own bonfire and fireworks display. Donations collected contribute to the food stalls, fun-fair and keeping the event free entry so give generously! With the bonfire kicking off early on Friday evening this could be the perfect start to your gunpowder, treason and plot!
Meadowhead Bonfire & Fireworks
Transport Ground, Meadowhead // 6pm November 4th // Free
Meadowhead have expanded their huge bonfire night event due to popular demand, adding a Punch and Judy show, magicians, face painting and fire eaters to all the usual festivities. With a new larger fun-fair area, hot food and an outside bar, all the family are sure to stay refreshed and entertained all evening. Bonfire goes up at 7!
Don Valley After Dark
Don Valley Grass Bowl // November 5th // £11 Adult & £5.50 Child
After Dark celebrate their 21st year of Bonfire Night commemorations, returning to Don Valley Bowl once again for what is undoubtedly the biggest November 5th event in Yorkshire. With a giant bonfire (lit at 7.30pm), a spectacular fireworks display set to music (9pm), food stalls and a big old-fashioned fun-fair it’s easy to see why 20,000 people are expected to attend.
Chatsworth House at Bonfire and Fireworks
Chatsworth House // 6pm-9:45 November 5 (Sold Out) + 6th // £12.50 Adult & £8.50 Child
If you’re looking for an evening out for all the family look no further than Chatsworth, which returns for another year of Fireworks and festivities, including an array of traditional bonfire food and drink, stilt walkers, live bands and Glacial Art ice sculptors. There’s also a special “Disney Classics” firework display at 7:30 before the grand finale at 8:45, if your kids can’t quite handle the bigger bangs!
Owlerton Fireworks and Races
Owlerton Stadium // 4pm-9 November 6 // £4 Adult & £2 Child
If greyhound racing is your thing then Owlerton is the place to be this weekend, with three hours of races followed by a firework display fit for all the family. Entry is great value too, just £4 for adults, leaving you plenty of cash to splash on your lucky number!
