The Red Deer’s Bypass Fest
As if there isn’t enough to sink your teeth into in Sheffield over the Tramlines festival weekend, The Red Deer are on hand to offer up another free event.
From 24-27 July, The Red Deer will be hosting Bypass Beer and Music Festival, providing a range of live music acts and quality beer with ale showcases.
The festivities begin on Friday night from 7pm with a line-up of folk artists to break you in gently. On Saturday, the event kicks off at 2pm with the ale showcase in the venue’s main function room, featuring samples from locals Abbeydale Moonshine, Bradfield Farmer’s Blonde, and many more.
Saturday’s musical guests bring what the organisers are describing as a ‘mixed bag’ of artists including a headline spot for electro-folk band and Red Deer regulars Seven Tors, followed by Louis Romégoux, and a closing DJ set from Footstompers.
Finally, Sunday concludes the festival with more live music in the evening, beginning at 5pm with Sophie Mapplebeck, Chris Johnson, Will Severs and lastly Jim O’Mahoney, all providing a chilled vibe to end the festivities.
