Steel City Beer and Cider Festival
Kelham Island // Until October 22
The Sheffield Beer Festival is taking place this weekend at the heart of the city’s beer drinking community; Kelham Island. Expect with two international bottled bars, plus over 300 ales and ciders, including 23 local Sheffield breweries. Food stalls and live music will be on hand to entertain throughout.

The Moors Little Monster Halloween Party

With Halloween just around the corner, this Sunday The Moor is hosting a Little Monster Halloween Party, perfect for all the family. Free to attend, the party is packed full of Halloween themed entertainment from dances, music and funfair rides to their caged mummy, giant Frankenstein monster and lots more!

Music in the Round: Celebrating 100 Years of Roald Dahl: Dirty Beasts & Cinderella
Sheffield Crucible // October 22nd
If ever there is a kids’ favourite storyteller and poet, it’s Roald Dahl. This year Sheffield are celebrating 100 years of the writer with a special concert performance of Dahl’s hilarious poems Dirty Beasts and Cinderella. Perfect for all the family, the show will involve live classical music, narration and lots of audience participation.

Taking place at several locations across Sheffield City Centre on Saturday 22nd, the Out of this World Festival is free for everyone, and celebrates all things otherworldly. Expect out of the ordinary entertainment, perfect for those who are fans of all things spooky as well as sci-fi, comic books, gaming, magic and illusion.

Flavours Food Festival
Elsecar Heritage Centre // October 23
This Sunday head to Elsecar Heritage Centre for the first ever Flavours Food Festival; a spectacular day of bustling market stalls all offering a wide variety of delicatessens and drinks. Special guest celebrity chef James Martin will also be doing a workshop showcasing all of his favourite recipes for you to recreate at home.

The Rocking Chair // October 21
Leicester lad Leo Stannard is back in Sheffield this Friday at The Rocking Chair, touring his new EP ‘Free Rein’. Having played with the likes of Kidnap Kid and with over 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, Leo won’t be playing these smaller venues for much longer, making this a gig not to be missed.

Fancy yourself as a bit of an artist? Why not try your hand at Life Drawing this Friday and develop your drawing skills from nude models, both male and female. Support will be on hand throughout the day and basic material will be available to use, however, it is recommended to bring your own too.
