Velvet Burlesque Grand Halloween Ball

“Devilish dancers, madcap magicians, sideshow shenanigans, comedy capers, and ferocious freaks” will be the order of the day at this year’s Velvet Burlesque ball, a late night escapade into the world of masquerade, horror, gothic and everything in between. Dressing up is positively encouraged!

Devilish Drop
Corporation // October 28th
The daddy of all alternative nights, expect everything from hardcore, punk and emo sounds in the Fractured room to dance, indie, pop and soul in the Anthemic room. Upstairs you’ll find Popcorn, delivering a unique mixture of pop, disco and 80s tunes. Wear what you want, dance how you like and enjoy a monster mash of music at ear-spitting volume.

Steel City Firewalk
Hillsborough Arena // October 28th
Fancy walking twenty feet across fiery embers that burn upwards of 650°C? No this isn’t a form of torture, but an adrenaline-fuelled challenge, raising money for local youth homeless charity Roundabout. All you have to do to take part is raise a minimum of £75 in sponsorship and full training will be given, so no experience is necessary. Apple bobbing, stalls, face-painting and a fancy dress competition will all be on hand to entertain whilst the daredevils amongst you get ready for the main event. Now he is the newest recruit to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, adding a fantastical, sci-fi twist to proceedings.
