Full steam ahead! City centre bar to open next month.

Following the recent closure of The Old Monk on Norfolk Street, a hefty six-figure investment has seen the building set to re-open in the hands of Cameron’s Brewery. Opening in April of this year, it will be the eighth Head of Steam venue in the UK with other bars currently set up in Newcastle, Leeds, Huddersfield, Sunderland, Durham and Norton.

The company has also continued its working partnership with Longhorns Barbecue Smokehouse, which will oversee the running of the kitchen at the new venue and provide a smokehouse BBQ experience to punters.

With more than 70 pubs and venues in the North, Cameron’s Brewery is one of the UK’s largest private breweries and this is their first venture in Sheffield. The successful Head of Steam brand is known creating lively establishments with vast beer selections and great food on offer – they should fit in a treat!
