Outside Over There (The Night Kitchen) launch Autumn lineups
Just three months after their final event in June, the team behind The Night Kitchen have announced their opening season of club nights at new venue Outside Over There in Attercliffe.
Eight more events have been added following the launch of the “Rebirth Weekend”, which features a bassline, drum ‘n’ bass and grime event on the September 29th with Sheffield local and speed garage favourite Dr Cryptic, owner of Chip Butty Records. A House/Techno party takes place on the 30th, with Leeds-based vinyl fanatic Ste Roberts joining UK Mondo regular ES.Q and Night Kitchen Resident Emily May.
The Night Kitchen curate four nights over the term, with tech-house giants Dense & Pika of Hotflush and Drumcode fame and DIY techno rising star Escorting Sarah hitting OOT on October 6th, as well as a huge Halloween special on October 28th. Bluewave are set to host two nights, bringing “Neighbourhood” legend Zed Bias, Rinse FM’s Spooky Bizzle and Tempa signee and genre-bending J:Kenzo for their first event, plus a winter Carnival on November 25th.
November 3rd sees Front and Back present Mall Grab, an artist who has had a meteoric rise to fame since his Sheffield debut with Pretty Pretty Good last year. Glasgow Sub Club legends Optimo and Amsterdam’s Red Light Radio whiz kid Orpheu The Wizard complete a strong line-up on the promoter’s second warehouse outing.
Outside Over There also welcome back UK promoters Percolate (who recently held their first festival in London to critical acclaim) on their 5th Birthday tour, following their huge Sheffield debut at The Night Kitchen with Pearson Sound and Beautiful Swimmers earlier this year.
