Octave One to perform live in Sheffield
Legendary house duo Octave One are set to hit Southbank Warehouse on Friday November 3rd.
Primarily known for their year 2000 single “Black Water“, a huge crossover hit, the Detroit brothers have been in the game close to 30 years. After debuting on Derrick May’s label Transmat in 1990, the duo have gone on to remix Massive Attack, Joey Negro, and tour the world as one of the biggest house and techno live acts worldwide.
NTS Radio star Funkineven aka Steven Julien, who’s debut album “Fallen” was released to great acclaim last year heads up the support with Whities label don, Tasker. Also playing is former PPG guest and producer/DJ of the moment, Peggy Gou, whose 2017 has been phenomenal following a Boiler Room at Dekmantel and high profile sets at Glastonbury.
Support comes from Re:ni, member of the Siren collective and Leeds DJ Chekov, whose upcoming release on Shanti Celeste’s Peach Discs label is out soon. Pretty Pretty Good residents Alief, Dan J & Smorsli are on warm up and closing duties.
