Gilles Peterson and Horse Meat Disco booked for Tramlines Fringe at Peddler Warehouse

Peddler Market and 92 Burton Road are expanding their Tramlines Fringe events massively this year, with two of the UK’s DJ institutions headlining this year’s events.

Spread over the Saturday and Sunday of this year’s Tramlines weekend are world music and jazz stalwart Gilles Peterson and disco collective Horse Meat Disco respectively. This is the beginning of a big step up for the venue, with a statement that “This year, we’re bringing a brand new calendar of music events to the Peddler Warehouse” having been made on the event.Support comes from former Sheffield-based night Banana Hill, hi-fi club night Apricot Ballroom and disco/house night Nice Like Rice on the Saturday. The Sunday sees London-based disco duo Raw Silk as well as Sheffield legends Winston Hazel and Dan J. Both nights continue until midnight and have individual tickets for sale. Peddler has confirmed that a high end sound-system will be in place for both events.

Early bird tickets for Gilles Peterson are available from £10 here, and Horse Meat Disco here.
