Urban axe throwing comes to Sheffield
Ever thought of throwing something heavy at the wall to release endorphins and relieve stress? Then look no further.
Starting on June 1, Valhalla Martial Arts, located in Sheaf Bank Business Park off Chesterfield Road, are bringing out a brand new attraction for people wanting to ‘unleash their inner Viking.’
Indoor axe throwing, a cross between archery and darts, will be a fun way to vent frustrations and try something new. “There’s something primal in all of us, and I think it’ll be a fantastic activity for anybody, whether just enjoying themselves or wanting to let off steam after work,” explains Luke Ireland of Valhalla Martial Arts.
You can book online with sessions £20 per head for an hour-and-a-half slot, Valhalla invite those looking for a unique hen or stag do, corporate team building or an unforgettable outing with friends. “We require participants to be over 18, but with a safety brief and training, it’s a completely safe activity. It’s all about technique, not strength,” assures Luke.
