Public consultation for new arts venue at Park Hill

S1 Artspace and Urban Splash have come together to put forward plans for a new arts, culture and heritage venue at Park Hill.

The collaborative project will see the lower floors and courtyard of the Duke Street block into a new gallery, artist studio, education and community spaces and creative work spaces. Urban Splash, the company behind the entire Park Hill refurbishment, will be providing further residential housing on the upper floor.

The consultation will be held at S1 Artspace on Saturday (20 October, 10:30am – 4:30pm), giving the public a chance to view the current plans as well as meet the team behind S1 and architects Carmody Groarke.

The plans will remain on display on 24 – 26 October, 12-5pm. For more info about S1 Artspace, head to s1artspace.org.
