Listen: Jarvis Cocker’s new single ‘Must I Evolve?’

Jarvis Cocker has released a new track under the subtle guise of JARV IS, the Pulp frontman’s new band.

‘Must I Evolve?’, a seven minute, up-tempo corker of a tune, features bandmates Serafina Steer, Emma Smith, Andrew McKinney, Jason Buckle and Adam Betts – who were all a part of the tiny shows Jarvis played last year, including a gig at the Devil’s Arse in Castleton.

The track is currently streaming online and on YouTube, but its physical release has been limited to sales at forthcoming JARV IS shows at All Points East at London’s Victoria Park and Primavera in Ibiza, the latter in a cave, no less…
