Curtis Eller’s American Circus – April 17th

Often described as “New York’s angriest yodelling banjo-player”, Curtis Eller travels all over the place with his rag-tag bunch of inelegant and brutish rock ‘n’ rollers, all of whom make up the “American Circus”. Eller’s songs present themes of sometimes cruel but always witty irony, promising gospel songs for atheists, banjo music for funerals, and dance numbers for amputees.

A bizarre and always-entertaining act, Curtis Eller’s American Circus comes to The Shakespeare on the 17th of April.
