An Artist’s Touch
Exposed In Session alumnus and BBC Folk Awards nominee Sam Genders is running an intensive songwriting weekend at his Sheffield home.
It looks to be a very enjoyable weekend for a lucky four people looking to brush up on their songwriting skills with an accomplished musician in a friendly, supportive environment. Sam hopes that the project’s alternative slant will let it stand out in a sea of courses firmly rooted in mainstream pop and rock.
Sam is the man behind Diagrams, which is half solo project and half musical collective. Dozens of musicians have contributed to the project, now on its second full album. Sam also co-founded the electro-influenced folk band Tunng, known in part for their fondness of unconventional instruments like seashells.
