Roundabout Christmas appeal, help restore No.11!
Roundabout homeless charity has been providing shelter to young people in the city since 1977. The organisation support 150 homeless young people every day and provide the only emergency hostel for 16-21s in the city.
This Christmas time the charity urgently needs to refurbish their No. 11 property which sits directly next to their emergency hostel.
No. 11 provides five self-contained flats for eight young people who have started working towards some form of education, training or employment. The property provides a home for them for up to six months, as they prepare to live independently.
Ruth Gage, Roundabout’s Fundraising and Communications Manager says: “No. 11 is in desperate need of new heating, kitchens and re-decoration, work which has to be carried out if we are to meet the requirements necessary for supporting these young people properly.”
