Tramlines Gets Exposed: Blessa

Sheffield’s own Blessa are an example of atmospheric dream pop at its best. Blending the sounds of fuzzy guitars, chilling vocals and lavish pop hooks, the five-piece have already managed to gain serious attention from the likes of NME and The Guardian. Forming just after leaving university in 2012, the band set out to make a name for themselves extensively performing around Sheffield and sharing the stage with the likes of Fear Of Men and Veronica Falls.

During 2013 the group posted a spattering of singles on SoundCloud that helped the band in sustaining a strong local following. Latest release ‘Love Is An Evol Word’ was released last summer and is a collection of three hits showcasing their talent. This year marks Blessa’s third consecutive year at the festival and isn’t one to be missed!

Catch them at: Exposed In Session Stage, Saturday 6-30pm
