Mike Skinner takes to the streets for intimate gig at Dr. Martens

Saturday 25th July 6-7 pm

This Saturday, Mike Skinner, the man behind brummie-band The Streets, will play an intimate gig at every hipster’s favourite footwear store.

In partnership with Tramlines, the BRIT-Award winner will perform an exclusive DJ set on a first-come first-serve basis to music and Docs fans at the Dr. Martens store on Chapel Walk.

The free gig comes ahead of Mike’s Tramlines performance at O2 Academy, alongside Basement Jaxx, The Charlatans and Dutch Uncles.

Dr. Marten’s store manager Yasmin Radecki said: “Tramlines is such a big event for us here in the city and we’re really excited for this year’s line-up.

She added: “Mike’s set will mark the first official in-store event held in our new Sheffield store and what better way to do it than with a British rap icon.”

In addition to live music, for those who attend there’ll be a 15% discount to boot.
