Review: The Seamonsters – Lost and Found

You get a vibe with some local bands, a little hunch that everything – talent, personality and sound – are all in the right place to see them do very well indeed. Suffice to say, ‘indie-glitter’ six-piece The Seamonsters have put themselves right on that list with this debut single, a hugely catchy and uplifting indie-pop ditty.

Swirling guitars, 80’s-style keys and stirring vocal harmonies – they’ve effectively encapsulated a carefree summer into a five-minute track. With plenty of time left to hone their sound and continue earning their spurs on the live circuit, expect to hear more from them soon.

4/5 JF
