Saturday’s programme is hosted by Murray Chapman from A Passion to Inspire

‘A Passion to Inspire’, founded by Murray Chapman, is a nonprofit making, voluntary initiative, initially developed to bring education and industry closer together to help and support ‘the future of tomorrow today’.
Through A Passion to Inspire and great support, Murray has raised over £220,000 for charities such as Teenage Cancer Trust – NSPCC whilst involving the country’s leading chefs and inspiring students and lecturers from across the UK.
11AM – READY STEADY COOK!
Two Sheffield champions, executive head chef at Chesterfield FC Seymour Millington goes up against former owner of Peppercorn Charlie Curran who’ll battle it out using the freshest of ingredients from Whirlow Hall Farm Charity Trust. Support comes from two fantastic cooks in Sarah Kerrigan and John Gray.
11:45AM – SEYMOUR MILLINGTON – MASTER CHEF OF GREAT BRITAIN
Local lad Seymour Millington spent the beginning of his career in various five star hotels and rosette-awarded restaurants, including the luxury Park Lane Hotel in London. Trained at Sheffield College and now a Master Chef of Great Britain, Seymour currently uses the solid foundations of his work ethic in his role as executive head chef at Chesterfield F.C and will be bringing that ethos to his demo on Saturday, whilst cooking up a storm with a fried chicken and sriracha sauce.
12:40PM – TIINA AND LESLIE – BROCCO ON THE PARK
The owner of the award-winning Brocco on the Park Tiina Carr will be on hand with Michelin Plate head chef Leslie Buddington to present an aquavit-cured cod with pork-glazed rhubarb, asparagus, broad beans, rye dough and nasturtiums.
1:20PM – TOM AND ALISTAIR – RAFTERS
Co-owners of Rafters Tom Lawson and Alistair Myers showcase a dish which exemplifies how they took the iconic Rafters restaurant to the next level: agnolotti filled with fresh cheese and wild garlic.
2:10PM – TOM SAMWORTH – NO NAME RESTAURANT
Sheffield-born Tom Samworth’s restaurant No Name serves modern bistro food in a relaxed environment. For his mid-afternoon demo, he’ll be cooking Moss Valley pork, the “No Name way”. Intriguing…
3:00PM – CHARLIE CURRAN – NOOSA CAFE BAR
Former Peppercorn owner Charlie Curran gives us a little preview into his new Kelham Island venue with a demo of Whirlow Hall Farm baked eggs, smoked salmon and soda bread.
3:40PM – SIMON AYRES – 450 ABOVE
Following a brief stint in that there London, Simon returned home to Sheffield to build a solid reputation whilst doing some TV show work with Gordon Ramsay, then took an opportunity to work with amazing charities like Whirlow Hall Farm Trust which eventually led to the opportunity to open the fantastic 450 Above.
4:30PM – MICK BURKE AND LEN UNWIN – MASTER CHEFS OF GREAT BRITAIN
Two official Master Chefs of Britain round off Saturday’s programme with an artisan chocolate dish.
