Peddler, Sheffield’s bi-monthly night market, returns on March 6-7.
The event will combine a variety of street food traders cooking up everything from spring rolls by Sim Sum Su to Cowboy Burgers’ delicious buns and a chippy tea from The Hip Hop Chip Shop – to name but a few. With craft beer, art, music and entertainment, Peddler is unique when it comes to food markets.
Situated at the foot of Arundel Street, in the heart of Sheffield’s Cultural Industries Quarter, the event spreads across two ex-industrial buildings; Renown Works and 156 Arundel Street. Featuring pop up bars, live music and top notch fare to suit every taste, you certainly won’t leave with a rumbling tummy. The warehouse environment allows for both outdoor and indoor facilities, which also includes an art gallery showcasing talented Sheffield artists, in association with APG works.
On each night there will be ten different traders, meaning it is well worth popping along to both events to snap up something new. And it’s not just about food; there will be entertainment from student teams running Holi One fun and on the Saturday there will be a live kitchen and dance class.
Upping their game on the music scene, Peddler will also be showcasing live acts and DJs to have you boogying whilst you tuck in including tunes from DJ Alex Mitchell, Kid Conventional, Northern soul DJ roughshag, a special guest surprise and many more.
Free entry, 5-10:30pm Friday March 6 and 2-10:30pm Saturday March 7. For more information, follow Peddler on Twitter and Instagram @peddlermkt. Alternatively, email queries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
