Peddler returns to 92 Burton Road this Friday and Saturday 6-7 April, so finish off any leftover chocco and prepare for a fabulous foodie feast this weekend.
This time around the ever popular food market will be adding another four brand-spanking new traders among the usual favourites, plus a special cocktail event (which has sadly now sold out).
Wingmans
Billing themselves as purveyors of ‘London’s Best Chicken Wings’, the wingmen’s reputation proceeds them, having bagged several national and international awards for their classic buffalo wings and menu including mac and cheese balls, oriental wings (pictured below), sweet and smokey BBQ wings and veggie options.
Truly Crumptious
Fancy something a little more homely? Truly Crumptious specialise in homemade, organic and vegan friendly crumpets with a range of toppings. Forget what you know about the supermarket-bought kind, their crumpets are freshly made and lightly griddled before serving to give a thick crunchy base and super light, fluffy middle. Oh and they’re square don’t freak out.
Kebab Cartel
Although we’re not sure what making kebabs ‘the gangsta way’ actually involves, their truck will be serving up dishes like ‘The Escobar’, a kebab with 28-day aged beef or lamb, described as a ‘time-bomb in your mouth’, so give it a go if you fancy taking on the cartel.
Kerb Bears Street Food
Indian food, but as you might not have seen it before. Kerb Bears specialise in Indian fried chicken dishes. Expect them to be bringing the (probably much needed) heat to Peddler this weekend.
The espresso martini masterclasses
The masterclasses are to be held at an on-site, secret location, tickets cost a tenner for a 40-45 minute masterclass, 3 drinks and a queue jump. So it’s no surprise the spaces flew out fast, with their extra tickets release on Tuesday selling out in hours.
Hopefully the high demand for classes means Peddler will be offering something similar next time round – keep those eyes peeled for announcements for their 30th edition!
As per there’ll be the wide selection of craft beers, a cracking cocktail and mocktail menu, a selection of craft stalls and retail including Paria cycling wear – plus some top-notch live music.
So: street food, craft beer, live music, cocktails and art – what’s not to like? Other traders include Buddha Belly, Shoot the Bull UK, Sheffield Cheesemasters, Nether Edge Pizza Company, The Depot Bakery and Tap Garden Sodas, whilst stalls include Popeye & Daisy Jewellery, Anja Uhren Illustration and Wandering Beasts.
See you there, folks.
