Marco’s New York Italian Afternoon Tea
Marco’s New York Italian is introducing a new afternoon tea menu, boasting a special ‘twist’ on the traditional offerings.
The innovative ‘House Made’ afternoon tea menu includes pastrami on rye bread, smoked salmon bagels and pulled pork rolls to rival your average finger foods, with milkshake shots, Italian-inspired cakes, brownies, and filled cronuts to satisfy a sweet tooth or two.
Don’t worry if fancy food isn’t for you, as the restaurant still caters to those preferring the more conventional options, with a traditional afternoon tea comprised of finger sandwiches, homemade scones, fruit tarts, and sponge cakes.
Keen to inject some innovation into the menu’s daytime offerings, restaurant manager at Marco’s, Andrea Booker said, “We’ve wanted to introduce afternoon tea for quite a while now, and the summer seemed like the perfect time to do it.
“It fits in perfectly with our ‘affordable glamour’ ethos – people can come along with their friends or family and share a decadent afternoon tea in glam surroundings, but without the high price tag.”
The traditional afternoon tea is £15 per person, while the New York Italian tea costs £16 per head. Both teas are available for £19.95 with a glass of Prosecco, with unlimited tea and coffee.
