A herd of ales arrive!

To coincide with its 35th anniversary, The Fat Cat will be hosting a weekend-long bash from the 18th to-21st of August.

Live music, a jumble sale, and a BBQ will all be taking place, as well as a visit from a herd of very special guests, with hopes of raising funds for two causes very close to the pub staff’s hearts – St. Luke’s Hospice and Sheffield Children’s Hospital. Taking inspiration from the recent Herd of Sheffield project, the outside bar will offer 12 special edition locally brewed beers, with each beer representing one of the herd members scattered about the city. Abbeydale Brewery, North Union, Lost Industries, Kelham Island Brewery amongst others will provide the beers, you provide the money – and at only £3 a pint with £1 from that going directly to the charities, there’s no better excuse for sampling some of the finest ales the Steel City has to offer.

There will be also be two extra special beer clips up for grabs, as the Arctic Monkeys and Pete McKee will be signing their elephant’s beer clips before they are auctioned or raffled for charity.

The Fat Cat’s 35th birthday takes place August 18th-21st, with live music on the Friday and Saturday evening.
