Yellow Arch Studios’ Independent Venue Week are celebrating artists pushing boundaries and blurring the lines of jazz music.
Run Logan Run: the duo are a head on collision of pounding tribal drums and screaming guttural saxophone. Formed through a shared passion for improvisation, spiritual jazz and heavier experimental music, the pair have been creating their own narrative in the new wave of crossover jazz.
Support from Long Legged Creatures: a band who inhabit an inventive middle ground between the artificial and the analogically pure. LLC’s unique blend of ever-twisting electronica has shaped their live appearances into some kind of hybrid.
OKH: a heavy hitting, brain twisting beat wizard playing a live set of original productions that will have your head nodding to potentially dangerous degrees.
