The Level Collective Clothing Company
Mark Musgrave first came to our attention around four years ago – when he was gigging across Sheffield to fund a charity trip to Romania. Since then, that trip has inspired a much bigger adventure.
Mark is the man behind The Level Collective – a recently launched independent ethical clothing label which partners ethical suppliers across the world with Sheffield and UK creatives. The result is an original opening range of clothing featuring the likes of graphic tees and beanies.
Mark spent his time in Romania working with a charity which brings sustainable change to poor communities through training and by employing members of the community to hand-make various garments. These folk now make his custom chunky-knit beanies. Meanwhile, all tees are ethically made in India from 100% organic cotton. Designs are then high quality screen-printed in England before being hand-finished in Sheffield with screen-printed cotton-drill tags.
We’re loving his work. Keep an eye out for items popping up in the likes of Moonko and the Millennium Galleries soon and see www.thelevelcollective.co.uk for more.
