The Vintage Kilo Sale hits Sheffield on 17th January at A New Shop on Division Street. Founded in 2009, the idea is simple: 5 tonnes of vintage clothing is yours to peruse – take your fill to the scales and pay just £15 per kilo. Browse, rummage and pick out what you fancy; take your time as here will also be five separate free kilo prizes awarded throughout the day to random shoppers.
Offering a window into wholesale life, the event lets shoppers play vintage trader for a day, by simply paying per weight. With an average of 3-4 items per kilo, bag yourself a whole new outfit with change from a twenty! Shop menswear and ladieswear, denim and dresses, jumpers, tees, jackets and more.
Also touring London, Leeds, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool and Edinburgh, the Vintage Clothing Kilo Sale offers an economical yet exciting way to shop this seasons trends. Founder Judy Berger calls it ‘taking retro to its roots.’ Acknowledged by the likes of Elle, ASOS and Stylist, shoppers can expect the same high standard from ‘Vintage’ festival curator, bringing vintage that’s affordable, eclectic and always ‘worth the weight.’
