Through The Lens: All Good Stuff
Exposed photoblogger Ellie Grace takes us Through The Lens to All Good Stuff on Arundel Street.
Nestled away on Arundel Street inside the beautiful and historic Butcher Works is All Good Stuff. Inside you will find a gallery shop selling unique, hand-crafted, art and craft wares created by 50+ local artists, designers and makers. AGS is a non-profit community interest which means that any money that is made from the company is put back into the community, whether it’s events, workshop hire or rent for the building. You’ll definitely recognise some people in there if you’re a regular in the creative world of Sheffield. It’s also a great place to discover new people and new talents. There’s definitely something for everyone.
When I went down it was an open day where you could have a chance to see a few of the makers at work. It was really lovely to see all doors open and to feel really welcome while they worked. AGS have now opened their doors to workshops which are ran by either makers that are part of AGS or even anyone that would like to run a workshop as part of AGS. These can range from anything from screen printing, to silk painting, to corsage making. If you’re interested in visiting any of these workshops and getting involved you can find out information by signing up to their newsletter or visiting their Facebook. If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth popping in and having a look!
