Sheffield Showcase Returns in September with an Exciting Weekend Planned

The Sheffield Showcase, a collaborative festival event between a multitude of arts and culture groups based in the city, will be taking place over three days in the first weekend of September.

Returning for the third time in 2023, this weekend-long event will showcase the variety of cultural activity that takes place in the city – featuring film screenings, music performances, art exhibits and family-friendly activities – collectively creating a full-weekend programme showcasing the city of Sheffield.

The event will introduce audiences across a shared city-wide ‘showcase’ event to new cultural activity in Sheffield, while giving support to venues and independent organisations all over the city.

The weekend programme for the festival will feature events from Apricot Ballroom, The Leadmill, Writer’s Workshop, Sheffield Adventure Film Festival and more. People will be able to enjoy anything from a ghost walk through the city to a video game museum.
