Just Do Good Shit
Sheffield creatives come together for one-off poster exhibition, ‘Just Do Good Shit’, as part of Sheffield Design Week.
Curated by Sheffield design studio, Side by Side, the exhibition will showcase a collection of some of the city’s most regarded graphic design agencies as they join forces in the aim of making people aware of local studios, and the work that they do.
The show is based around the response to the question ‘what’s the most important thing we’ve learnt so far?’ – over their years in the design industry.
Dave Greasley, side by side co-founder, said:
“Just Do Good Shit is an idea that came from a series of blog posts we created in response to the question ‘what’s the most important thing we’ve learnt so far?’ The in-house project was key for our development and growth as a relatively young studio, which has in turn created a practise that we now take to every project we take on.
“The city of Sheffield has some amazing agencies who produce fantastic work and we want to shed light onto that and celebrate all the good things that’s going on here. The Just Do Good Shit exhibition is an attempt to bring creative people in the city together for the first time, in a way that no-one has ever seen before.”
The exhibition takes place on Saturday June 20 from 10am-5pm at 156 Arundel Street, and food and refreshments will be available from The Depot Artisan Bakery.
Studios involved are:
The Cafeteria, Ded, Defeye, DMSQD, Du.St, Field, Jaywing, Kiosk, Nick Deakin, Side by Side and We Are.
