Offering services such as music video production, artist development, recording, mixing and mastering amongst others, Big Sky Records have been in high demand across the local music community since its origins 2011. In fact, such was the quality of the music videos being produced, they were soon asked if they’d be able to lend their considerable talents to wedding videos.
Working closely with Christopher Lewis Photography, Big Sky continued producing wedding videos for a few years until making the decision to split off as Sky Weddings last December. They’ve recently been busy filming a Manchester wedding where the 60+ guests visited The Courteeners gig as part of their wedding reception, while later this summer they’ll be jetting off to Lake Como in Italy to film another.
“It’s an incredibly diverse and exciting area to work in,” says Joshua Ingamells, founding member of Sky Weddings. “We’ve been able to experience different cultures and their traditions, visit new places and meet some amazing people.”
More closer to home, the company recently exhibited at the Sheffield Hilton and filmed a wedding for a local couple, Mr and Mrs Booth, at the Millennium Galleries.
Sky Weddings will next be exhibiting in September at The Wedding Fair, one of the largest wedding fairs in the north of England, which takes place at Manchester’s Event City venue. They are currently booking weddings right through to 2020, so if you’re interested, head on down for a chat and the chance to find out a bit more about how their team can perfectly capture your special day.
