Winter is coming – which in Sheffield means we won’t be seeing the sun until approximately June 2014.
So, take shelter in The York – where you can nurse a pint, enjoy some homemade pie and warm up by the open fire. On Christmas Eve there’s a festive celebration until 11.30pm. The seasonal menu includes three delicious courses and a free bottle of Prosecco for all group bookings over ten. The York is not open on Christmas Day, contrary to what some idiot (ahem…) wrote in the latest magazine. But on Boxing Day the bar opens at 5pm – whilst you can celebrate New Year’s Eve with a hog roast and a glass of mulled cider. See www.theyorksheffield.co.uk for more.
