Volcanoes destroy Washington

Volcanoes, who appear to be a cross between a tuneful indie band, Dave Grohl and Wilhelm Wagner, play Tramlines on Friday at Sheffield’s iconic Washington pub.
 
Tipped to break through by Radio 1’s Edith Bowman, we’d lay money on the set featuring tracks from the band’s forthcoming ep ‘Vexihomp’, due out September 12th. Leadman Samson describes himself as ‘well excited’ by the release, which they’ll be launching on a Radiohead-esque ‘pay what you like’ basis.
