¡Viva la Revolución!

Today sees the reinvention of Bia Hoi – as Revolucion De Cuba.

Brought to you by the same people, the place has had a massive refurb, swapping the previous Vietnamese theme for a Cuban vibe to create a totally new drinking and dining destination.

The owners chose Sheffield as the prime location because they know locals get excited about new ideas and they wanted to bring a fresh new offer into the city centre.

Rums from all over the world will be on offer along with Cuban and Caribbean style food – which will come with their own very special rum sauce which is made in-house to a secret recipe.

From students and young professionals, to diners wanting an authentic Cuban/Caribbean dining experience, Revolucion De Cuba can cater for everyone.

"The bar is a celebration of rum,” said Manager Jim. “It’s such a versatile spirit.”

They’ll also be hosting parties, offering treasure chests containing rum punch (with dry ice for  theatrical effect), and opportunities to create your own Mojito in the seated areas. Live Cuban bands are also set to become a stalwart fixture for Friday nights. It all adds up to something a bit special.

“We can’t wait for Sheffielders to come along and really get into the Cuban spirit of things,” added Jim.

"We’re particularly excited about our Zombie cocktail, which is made with a secret recipe passed through the ages, and served in an authentic Tiki mug. It really must be tasted to be believed."
