Vaccines: Pro or Con?

Following their recent support slots on the Arctic Monkeys arena tour, The Vaccines have announced a run of UK headline shows including a Sheffield date in November.

These shows will be their biggest U.K. gigs to date, and tickets are already on sale via www.gigsandtours.com, priced at £15.  The band will be playing the Sheffield O2 Academy on 23rd November.

The band’s debut album, What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? (read our review here), which was released in March of this year, was recently certified gold in the UK having sold in excess of 100,000 copies.

They made two triumphant appearances at the Glastonbury Festival this last weekend – their slot on the Other Stage on Friday opened the BBC coverage of the festival.

The band have additionally just completed a U.S. tour with the Arctic Monkeys, where Lyle Preslar, formerly of Minor Threat, joined them on stage in NYC. The band also made their U.S. network television debut on the Late Show with David Letterman on May 23rd.
