Treasures of the Archive and Library

An illustrated lecture covering the family and estate history including key characters such as Georgiana, the 6th Duke and Joseph Paxton. An exclusive private view of some of the greatest treasures including letters, rare books and illuminated manuscripts.

9:30am – Refreshments on arrival in the Cavendish Rooms

10:00am – 1 hour lecture including questions

Group splits in two – sessions to run vice versa
11:15am – In the Library with the Archivist
12:15pm – In the HMR with the Assistant Archivist

1:00pm – Lunch in the Burlington Room
