Tramlines Peoples Choice – The Bands

Coming down the track atcha, Saturday 19th May sees The Leadmill host a fierce Tramlines-teasing face-off between the city's indie, blues-punk, rock and pop!

It's a Sheffield stand-off – eight bands fighting for the chance to play the opening slot on the main stage of Tramlines 2012. Voted for by you, the line-up includes of lyrically opinionated 10 Bob Millionaire, Sheffield veterans Dead Like Harry, BBC Introducing favourites and Exposed In Session stars Blue Lip Feel (below), the “most exciting and promising band in Sheffield…” Pistola Kicks, the precise and assiduous Polkadodge, the gorgeously attention seeking Sour Cherry, Britpop heroes The Monday Club and last but certainly not least, sparklingly melodic The Ratells. We need a lie down already!

And the icing on this guitar based cake? Co-headliners Dead Sons and Wet Nuns. Let's make it a big one, eh?

Tickets for Tramlines The People's Choice are available from The Harley's website as well as The Wick at Both Ends, Leadmill Box Office, HMV Sheffield, Kuji Shop, Record Collector and The Old Sweet Shop.
