Route Publishing is looking to find ‘the next great talent’ aged 18-30 – with the promise of a book deal to reward their efforts.

Yorkshirehas a fantastic literary history, ranging from the Brontes to David Peace, with the latter putting himself firmly behind the operation.

Route Editor, Ian Daley, said: “This opportunity is designed to give the best of our emerging talent a kick start to their professional career and produce a cracking book for readers to enjoy.”

They’re looking for a novel or novella between 30,000-80,000 words. Authors should submit a synopsis, a sample text up to 10,000 words, plus a brief biography and covering letter.
