The Seven Hills are Alive…

Everyone likes to make a song and dance now and again – so why not do so about one of the biggest musicals around?
Croft House Theatre Company are performing the The Sound of Music at the Lyceum Theatre between March 13 – 17, providing a rare opportunity to catch the classic wartime musical live on stage in Sheffield.
The cast will consist entirely of local amateur performers, staying true to Croft House’s origins over 100 years ago, when the company was housed in Garden Street – then a slum area of Sheffield – with the aim of providing ‘education and recreation’ for the locals.
Don’t expect anything less than a professional performance of the highest standards though, as previous performances of Sweeny Todd and The Full Monty have received plenty of acclaim.
