The Natterjacks, Diamond Ranks – In Session Live 3rd March 2013

Another Sunday, another fab EiSL. On 3rd March, we've got a pair of musical jounreymen treading different paths…

First on the bill, The Forum will be playing host to The Natterjacks. The duo, Freddie Bingham & Mark Evans, are a pair of nineteen year olds from Chesterfield. They began playing together in 2010 with the original name ‘Fred & Mark’ before becoming The Natterjacks and starting to write their own material. They are an indie-folk band with a strong love for creating, listening and playing music. Most importantly, the pundits have been kicking their door down for attention, having already been courted by BBC Introducing, performing the gorgeous session below…

We're equally excited by the second band on the EiSL bill – Diamond Ranks. While the whole band are talented songwriters, they’re also keen on playing covers, including everything from Eartha Kitt to Massive Attack. With an eclectic taste in music, pigeonholing this lot isn’t easy. Much too Sheffield to be called ‘Americana,’ they prefer ‘Shefficana!’. Here's a vid of Diamond Ranks' merrying men doing what they do best…
