The Hangover: Part 2
Given the sleeper success of the boys' Vegas hangover, it came as no surprise when a sequel was announced.
Sticking firmly to the old adage, 'If it ain't broke…', this Thailand-set escapade is pretty much the same film as the first, only with a chain-smoking, drug-dealing capuchin monkey along for the ride.
This time around, its the turn of mild-mannered dentist Stu to get hitched, and being well aware of what he and the rest of the wolfpack are capable of, decides against having a bachelor party, but when he's forced to invite Alan to the wedding, it's a safe bet that shit's gonna get real.
With no memory of the night before, the boys struggle to piece together the heinous events that led them to awakening in a squalid Bangkok hotel room, with a severed finger in an ice bowl, a Mike Tyson tattoo, and a naked, come-snorting Chow (the crazy Asian gangster from Vegas).
Actual hilarity does indeed ensue, and whilst it may lack something in originality, it remains just as funny as its predecessor.
