The Common Room Cocktail Competition

The Common Room bar is playing host to an exciting cocktail competition this Wednesday 15 June.

After its success last year, The Common Room has decided to make the competition bigger and better this year with bars from all over Sheffield competing to see who can make the best cocktail.

The theme of the night is 5/5/5.  This means five ingredients in the cocktail, five minutes to make it and £5 retail price.

Each competitor must create two cocktails from Midori melon liqueur and Sagatiba pura cachaça that wouldn’t be out of place on The Common Room’s cocktail menu.

There will be a panel of judges on the night to choose the winning cocktail and present awards, as well as professional photographers and cocktail flarers providing entertainment.

First prize is a £100 bar tab at The Common Room and the winning cocktails will be featured in their cocktail menu for a month. Second and third prize winners will receive pool vouchers, bar equipment and some Sagatiba.

Everyone is welcome to attend the competition at The Common Room, Devonshire Street, for what promises to be a fun night.
