Sustainable Fashion from Beaumont Bags
Fashion is often swayed by our desires to consume. To look a certain way or to get that buzz from retail therapy. Well, on Style City this month meet Beaumont Bags, a South Yorkshire brand who create sustainable leather bags that are affordable and pretty darn beautiful.
When I’m blogging over at Jazzpad much of what comes my way is samples for outfit reviews. So, I’m chuffed to bits when I’m contacted by local South Yorkshire companies – especially since they know that’s where my heart lies.
Beaumont Bags is based in Dronfield, so not too far away from Sheffield, and are a sustainably sourced brand which results in gorgeous pieces that are well-made and so soft to the touch.
As well as being stocked at local fairs throughout the year – the next is on the 5th December, put it in your diaries! – they’re also sold on ASOS marketplace and their own website.
I was sent one of their baby satchels, which retail for £35. They’re a lot more affordable than most satchels you’ll find on the high street, and the quality is top notch. If you love the smell of authentic leather too (not just me, surely?) you can be sure they’re real.
Beaumont Bags don’t just sell satchels though, despite their popularity. On their website you’ll find saddle bags, hold alls, and even gorgeous backpacks. They’re not gender-specific either, which is nice. You can be sure every one is completely one of a kind, and for under £50, a satchel like this really is the perfect affordable pressie for your loved ones at Christmas.
