Legendary Sheffield student night Stardust returns for a 20th anniversary reunion on September 6 – throwing out tasty tunes for you to get your retro groove on.
If you were a student at Sheffield Hallam Uni, somewhere between 1993 and the mid-2000s, you might remember partying in the Nelson Mandela Building as part of long-running Friday club night.
In its prime, Stardust was hugely popular, attracting a variety of special musical guests and celebrity presenters over the years.
Although the Nelson Mandela Building no longer exists, Stardust is on its way back, establishing its new home at the Sheffield City Hall Ballroom. As it did at the start of 2000, the event will take over two rooms for partying; the Main Ballroom for those delicious 60’s, 70’s and 80’s retro classics, as well as the North Hall – playing host to hits from the 90’s up to 2004.
With retro visuals and nostalgic images, as well as the original DJs for the event, pop along and relive the glory days.
Tickets are £7, see the website for more information.
