Simply a Different Class

It's been on the horizon ever since they reunited last year – but Pulp have finally announced details of their homecoming show.

Yes, the Sheffield 5 piece announced on Twitter last night that they shall come home for Christmas. The big gig will be at Sheffield Arena on Saturday 8 December. Man-sized tissues are optional.

The band have had a fairly hectic 12 months since reforming in 2011; they've played at tonnes of festivals – including Isle of Wight Festival, Reading and Leeds Festivals, Sziget Festival, Primavera Sound, Glastonbury, and the Wireless Festival – and have played two sold-out Brixton Academy shows. They also played for the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall back in March.

The news of their return to the Motherland will be most welcome to the legion of fans that the band still has nationwide – but none more so than right here in Sheffield. Have you got any standout Pulp memories? What would your dream set-list be? Let us know either below or on Twitter or Facebook!
